Witkoppen’s mental health clinic provides a desperately needed service. We treat patients with severe depression or other mental health disorders. Very few of the healthcare facilities that serve our target communities offer mental health services. 

Our mental health clinic includes: 

• A counselling psychologist performs screening, evaluation, educational assessments, and on-going psychotherapy
• A mental health doctor can prescribe the necessary medication 

Our mental health clinic only operates on Thursdays.

Patients need to book an appointment for mental health clinic consultation with the psychologist or dedicated mental health doctor. Otherwise patients are seen as part of routine adult and child services.
