Witkoppen Clinic believes in treating people holistically. That’s why our social services department works in conjunction with the medical services. 

We offer the following social services programmes:

• Child and family care programme
• Orphans and vulnerable children programme
• Poverty alleviation project: We help patients with applications for childcare and disability grants, provide food parcels and clothes for them, and refer them to income generating projects outside of the clinic. 
• Statutory work including foster care and adoption referral. We provide community outreach services and visit homes in nearby informal settlements.
